Ingredients
Directions
Bring a pot of water to a rumbling boil on high heat.
Stir water while slowly adding in tapioca, stir until all the boba have risen.
Turn heat to a gentle simmer and simmer for 30 minutes. (Add more water throughout, if necessary)
After 30 minutes, turn off heat, cover with lid and let rest another 30 minutes.
Strain boba and wash under cold running water to remove excess starch.
Test the boba’s texture. If boba is too chewy repeat step 1-5.If boba is too soft repeat step 5 only until ideal texture is achieved
Optional: Soak boba in your choice of sweetener for 5 minutes to enhance their flavour.
Recipe Note
Consume within 3 hours or store in fridge / freezer.
Tips: If your boba tends to stick together in the pot, stir occasionally.
